About Rosie

Rosie is a 1966 Volkswagen Deluxe Splitscreen campervan that after production was shipped to the USA and the warm dry climate of Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was shipped over to the UK in 2004 where a comprehensive restoration began.

In July 2006 we bought the Splitscreen camper and continued with the restoration renewing and upgrading all the mechanical and electrical components with no expense spared. The bespoke interior was designed and built from scratch by a professional using such materials as oak for the cupboards and floor and alcantara for the seats and panels. All this hard work brought her up to the condition that she is today for our wedding in September 2008.

Rosie is our pride and joy and we guarantee that if you hire her for your wedding you will have a ride and service that will only add to the enjoyment of your big day and make the wedding day the best day of your life.

The campervan is fitted with up to date sound system so you can even provide your favourite music to be played on the journey. There is also a 19” pop up television / DVD player in the back so pre-recorded messages from friends and family who can’t be at your special day can be played. The television can then remotely descend out of view so not to impose on any photograph opportunities.

The Splitscreen camper has been completed to such a high standard that she has been featured on the cover of the January / February 2010 issue of VW camper & commercial magazine. There is also a 4 page article on her inside. The magazine editor is so impressed with the Splitscreen camper that they want her to feature on their exhibition stand at the VW show "Dubfreeze" in February 2010.
